He isn't looking at her hands and doesn't notice the soil. He feels her hand fold around his and the sensation is a welcome distraction from his own thoughts. She's right, he doesn't even want to think about food, or any of the other things he really needs to do. He needs to clean up, he needs to pay for their stay, he needs to do something with Susan's...
