Whether Susan has caught on to any of the awkwardness or odd behavior is probably hard to discern, as he just chatters away most of the time even if no one else is responding or if their responses are awkward. At the moment he's quietly looking around the place as he eats, at the other customers and whatever else catches his attention, before Lauren's words grab his attention instead and he shrugs with a little smile.

"I guess so... It would be better if it had more exciting things to look at or do though." Apparently the day's events weren't exciting enough for him, which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
